Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a results-oriented salesperson to drive growth in education products across a defined territory. You will present digital and print solutions, forecast activity, and build strategic plans with stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in education sales, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Base pay is commensurate with experience and location, plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 2 years in teaching and education sales preferred in publishing.
• Proven track record of sales growth and achieving goals.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with customers and partners.
• Strong territory management and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales calls to explore and present product solutions for digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster territory growth.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company tools.
• Participate in network-building opportunities within territory.
• Other duties as needed.
