Job summary

Cengage Group, a global edtech company, is seeking a sales professional to engage prospects, present digital and print solutions, and drive growth within a defined territory. The role requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with teaching and education sales experience preferred in publishing.

You will manage complex sales cycles, build relationships, and provide accurate forecasts using company tools. This position is based in Denver, CO with a strong emphasis on achieving annual targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. At least 2 years of teaching and education sales experience preferred in the publishing industry.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Strong territory management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with business technologies, multiple apps, CRM systems; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
