Job summary

Music & Arts, a division of Guitar Center, is seeking an Education Account Manager to build relationships with schools, drive rental, repair, and product growth, and represent Music & Arts to students, teachers, and the community.

You will serve schools from grade schools to high schools, travel within your territory, and partner with stores to host educator nights and events to promote resources and loyalty. The role includes a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer engagement, or community relations experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful, trust-based relationships with educators, administrators, and district decision-makers.
• Develop strategic territory plans focused on new school programs and local engagement.
• Achieve weekly educator conversations, meetings, and school visits.
• Respond to inbound leads within 24 hours and maintain pipeline documentation in Salesforce.
• Drive renewals, expansions, and net-new program creation across rentals, repairs, and products.
• Collaborate with local stores, RLCs, and support teams to ensure educator success.
