Job summary

Music & Arts, a division of Guitar Center, seeks an Education Account Manager to build relationships with schools, drive rentals and repairs, and promote program adoption. You’ll serve as the primary liaison, expanding educator support and community engagement across your territory.

You will coordinate with stores, deliver educator nights, and advocate for resources and promotions to teachers and parents. Travel within the district is required, with a focus on long-term school partnerships.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer engagement, or community relations experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build trust-based relationships with educators, admins, and district decision-makers.
• Expand outreach through calls, emails, school visits, and virtual meetings.
• Drive rental, repair, and product growth through educator programs.
• Collaborate with stores, repair shops, customer service, and RLCs for educator support.
• Lead with optimism and professionalism; support a positive team culture.
