Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an eDiscovery Technician in Dallas, TX with remote/hybrid options. The role supports the legal organization in a federal agency, handling eDiscovery processing, virus scanning, and loading productions into Relativity.

Strong emphasis on documentation, password retrieval, and compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate has three years of eDiscovery experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (can be substituted with additional relevant experience).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Knowledge of information resources.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and describe the production briefly.
• Obtain passwords from producers if encrypted materials lack a password.
• Determine if covers qualify for Relativity loading.
• Virus-scan productions off-network and address issues.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency's network.
• Follow protocols for handling various document types.
• Analyze data to determine required processing and completeness.
• Monitor for incoming productions by email and FTP.
• Coordinate off-site scanning for multi-box paper productions.
