Zusammenfassung

CGS Federal seeks a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join our legal team supporting a large Federal agency. You will manage eDiscovery workflows, perform virus scans, and prepare productions for loading into Relativity. The role requires proactive coordination, attention to data completeness, and strict adherence to security and protocol.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifikationen

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support project task requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree; three years of additional, directly relevant work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of information resources.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Aufgaben

• Log the production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest the cover letter and provide a brief description of the production.
• Call the producing party to obtain a password if encrypted productions have no password.
• Determine if the cover letter qualifies for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan the production off-network and address issues or reject the production.
• Copy the clean production to the Agency's network after verification.
• Follow protocols for handling various document types (e.g., MOUs, RFPA, whistleblower documents).
• Analyze productions to determine required processing and protocol selection.
• Ensure data completeness and that load-ready items contain all components.
• Monitor for productions arriving via email and via FTP.
• Scan and OCR paper documents; coordinate off-site scanning if needed.
