Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an eDiscovery Technician for New York, NY with hybrid/remote options, supporting legal operations. The role involves handling productions, virus scans, and Relativity loading within a federal agency context.

Requirements include three years of eDiscovery experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong analytical and communication skills, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support project task requirements.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines.
• Experience in managing multiple tasks such as those defined in the Duties and Responsibilities above must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Log the production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest the cover letter and provide a brief description of the production.
• Virus scan the production off-network using multiple virus protection software.
• Determine if the cover letter contains substantive information for loading into Relativity.
• Coordinate scanning of paper documents and off-site digitization for large productions.
• Monitor for incoming productions via email and FTP.
• Analyze data to determine required processing and protocol to follow.
