Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join the Legal team supporting a large Federal agency. Responsibilities include logging productions, digesting cover letters, performing virus scans, and determining processing needs for Relativity. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and willingness to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in eDiscovery, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information
• Bachelor's degree; three years of additional relevant work experience may substitute for the degree
• Knowledge of information resources
• Excellent analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines
• Experience managing multiple tasks as defined in duties

Responsibilities

• Log the production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System
• Digest the cover letter and provide a brief description of the production
• Obtain password for encrypted media when not provided
• Assess if cover letter qualifies for loading into Relativity
• Virus-scan production off-network with multiple tools
• Address issues or reject production per protocol
• Copy clean production to the Agency's network
• Follow protocols for handling documents (whistleblower, RFPA, MOUs, etc.)
• Analyze productions to determine processing requirements and protocol
• Check data completeness and report incomplete items
• Monitor incoming productions via email and FTP
• Scan and OCR paper documents for Relativity loading
• Coordinate off-site scanning for multi-box paper productions
