Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an eDiscovery Technician to support the legal team within a large Federal agency. You will log productions, digest lengthy materials, and ensure loads into Relativity are appropriate and complete.

You will virus-scan, coordinate encrypted media handling, and ensure secure transfer to agency networks, while following protocols for whistleblower, MOUs, RFPA, and other sensitive documents.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience to support project tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and describe the production.
• Obtain passwords for encrypted media when needed.
• Determine if cover letters qualify for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan productions and address issues per protocol.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency network.
• Follow protocols for handling documents (MOUs, RFPA, BSA, transcripts, etc.).
• Analyze productions to determine required processing and completeness.
• Monitor incoming productions by email and via FTP.
• Scan and OCR paper documents for Relativity loading.
• Coordinate off-site scanning for large paper boxes.
