Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an eDiscovery Technician to support a federal agency's legal team. Responsibilities include logging productions, briefing cover letters, virus-scanning, and loading eligible items into Relativity. The role requires three years of eDiscovery experience, a Bachelor’s degree, U.S.

citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Ideal candidates will monitor FTP/email deliveries, coordinate off-site scanning, and ensure data

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience to support project tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree; three years of additional relevant work may substitute for the degree.
• Knowledge of information resources and excellent analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills under tight deadlines.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and describe production for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan productions off-network and address issues per protocol.
• Determine if cover letters qualify for Relativity loading.
• Monitor incoming productions via email and FTP, coordinate scanning of paper documents.
• Analyze data to determine processing needs and completeness.
• Coordinate with Litigation Support Specialist when issues arise.
