Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join the Legal team in support of a large Federal agency. Responsibilities include processing, validating, and loading productions into Relativity, virus scanning, and coordinating with offshore/off-site scanning as needed.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in eDiscovery, a Bachelor's degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while ensuring data integrity

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information.
• Bachelor's degree plus three years of directly relevant work experience or equivalent substitution.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and describe productions concisely.
• Obtain passwords for encrypted media when needed.
• Determine if materials qualify for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan productions and follow remediation protocol if issues arise.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency network per protocol.
• Handle documents per policy (RFPA, MOUs, international, BSA, audio, laptops).
• Assess data to determine required processing and protocol.
• Verify data completeness and load readiness; inform Litigation Support as needed.
• Monitor incoming productions via email and FTP; arrange off-site scanning if multiple boxes.
