Job summary

NYC Alliance seeks a detail-oriented EDI & Customer Service professional to support order management and day-to-day operations, focusing on Walmart with additional Mass and Private Label responsibilities. You will manage EDI orders, coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Production, and Accounts teams to ensure accurate orders, inventory and timelines.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, preferably in apparel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with EDI systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

• Process EDI daily — monitor files to ensure timely orders
• Review discrepancies against contracts/bulks
• Check inventory availability and coordinate with Sales
• Communicate issues to Sales and coordinate corrections with accounts
• Own and manage daily Sales order maintenance and customer service tasks
• Provide documentation for EDI transmissions to accounts
• Collaborate with Walmart Lead, Sales, Warehouse and Production
