Overview
Our client, a Contemporary Fashion Brand, is seeking a EDI/ Logistics Associate to join their team on a contract basis in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Manage the open order book for wholesale accounts; monitor order status from EDI receipt through allocation, fulfillment, and shipment confirmation.
- Review and reconcile order discrepancies (quantity, pricing, cancel dates, ship windows) and partner with Sales, Production, and the 3PL to resolve in a timely manner.
- Ensure all orders are entered, updated, and maintained accurately in the ERP system (Exenta or equivalent); flag at-risk orders proactively.
- Communicate order status updates to internal stakeholders and retail partners as needed; serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day wholesale order inquiries.
- Generate and distribute weekly open order reports, shipping reports, and inbound/outbound tracking summaries.
- Maintain the style master as it relates to logistics, including UPC creation, 832 Catalogue updates, and product data uploads to Joor/NuOrder.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Business, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in wholesale logistics, EDI operations, or order management within the fashion, apparel, or consumer goods industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing EDI transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 940/945) in a wholesale or retail environment.
- Hands-on experience with EDI platforms; SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with apparel ERP systems; Exenta, ApparelMagic, NuOrder, or equivalent strongly preferred.
