Job summary

Solely Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics & EDI Coordinator to support transportation, logistics, order fulfillment and EDI transactions across North America.

You will manage onboarding with retailers, troubleshoot EDI issues, and ensure OTIF performance while coordinating with 3PLs, carriers, and warehouses. The ideal candidate has hands-on EDI experience with Walmart, Costco, Target, Kroger, Amazon, UNFI, KeHE or similar partners and strong ERP integration knowledge.

Qualifications

• Hands-on EDI setup and troubleshooting experience with major retailers.
• Experience coordinating EDI-ERP integrations (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Familiar with ANSI X12 transactions (850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 820).
• Experience with SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, Cleo, CommerceHub or similar EDI platforms.

Responsibilities

Solely is a fast-growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) company dedicated to providing simple, clean-label products made from real ingredients. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Logistics & EDI Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team, and support our growing distribution network across North America.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support transportation, logistics, order fulfillment and EDI transactions. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of products to customers, disputing logistics deductions, and maintaining compliance with customer routing guides and EDI requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with Walmart, Costco, Target, Kroger, Amazon, UNFI, KeHE, or similar trading partners, understands retailer compliance requirements, and can manage EDI transactions from onboarding through ongoing support. This position plays a critical role in maintaining OTIF (On Time In Full) performance, reducing chargebacks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

EDI Setup & Trading Partner Support

• Set up, test, and maintain EDI connections for new retail and distributor accounts.
• Manage transactions including 850 (PO), 855 (PO Acknowledgment), 856 (ASN), 810 (Invoice), 846 (Inventory), and 820 (Remittance).
• Coordinate onboarding with customers, EDI providers and 3PLs.
• Troubleshoot failed, delayed, or rejected EDI documents, and ensure timely resolution.
• Integrate EDI transactions with company’s ERP system (SAP).
• Maintain customer-specific EDI maps, testing documentation, and implementation records.
• Process orders for national retailers, grocery chains, club stores, and distributors.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling with warehouses, carriers (LTL / FTL), and customer receiving locations.
• Monitor OTIF performance, and proactively resolve risks that could impact service levels.
• Ensure compliance with customer routing guides, appointment requirements, pallet configurations, and labeling standards.
• Investigate discrepancies involving purchase orders, pricing, quantities, ship dates, ASNs, invoices, and inventory data.
• Process reverse logistics activities, including customer returns, refused shipments, and product recovery.

Retail Compliance & Chargeback Reduction

• Partner with customer service, sales, warehouse, and transportation teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support dispute documentation and recovery efforts for invalid chargebacks.
• Track recurring compliance issues and recommend process improvements.
• Communicate shipment updates and exceptions to customers, sales, customer service, and operations.
• Manage freight claims involving shortages, damages, concealed damage, and OS&D (Overages, Shortages & Damages).

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics, supply chain, customer fulfillment, or transportation experience in a CPG environment.
• Direct experience supporting major retailers and distributors (Walmart, Costco, Target, Kroger, Amazon, UNFI, KeHE, or similar).
• Hands-on EDI implementation and troubleshooting experience.Experience with SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, Cleo, CommerceHub, or similar EDI platforms.
• Working knowledge of ANSI X12 transactions: 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, and 820.
• Experience with EDI / ERP (such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar) systems integrations.
• Experience coordinating LTL and FTL shipments.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple retailer deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Food, beverage, snack, or natural products industry experience.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• APICS/ASCM, CSCMP, or other supply chain certifications are a plus.
