Job summary

HP is seeking a Presales Solution Engineer for Edge AI to transform opportunities into production‑ready solutions. You will design end‑to‑end Edge AI architectures, lead POCs, and ensure measurable business value across discovery, architecture, validation, and deployment stages.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and partners to deliver productionized solutions, maintain technical continuity, and drive customer success. Travel up to 50% across the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in technical presales, forward deployment engineering, solution engineering or architecture.
• Experience designing and deploying AI, Edge AI, computer vision, advanced compute, or accelerated computing solutions.
• Hands‑on knowledge of modern AI infrastructure including GPUs, CPUs, NPUs, accelerators, containers, networking, storage, and hybrid‑cloud technologies.
• Experience taking technical solutions from POC or pilot into production environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, networking, application, and integration challenges.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, scalability, manageability, and production operational requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and technical capabilities into business outcomes.
• Strong customer‑facing presentation, communication, and technical storytelling skills.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, product management, services, partners, and customer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers, account teams, Enterprise Architects, and business stakeholders to understand challenges and outcomes.
• Translate requirements into Edge AI architectures and implementation strategies.
• Lead end‑to‑end POC and validation efforts, defining objectives, success criteria, and exit criteria.
• Own the productionization plan for successful POCs, including architecture, security, and deployment.
• Build reusable architectures, patterns, and reference designs for future engagements.
• Support sales with architecture sessions, workshops, and technical content generation.
