Job summary

HP is seeking a Presales Solution Engineer for Edge AI. You will partner with customers to translate business challenges into Edge AI architectures, drive POC validation, and guide production-ready deployments.

You’ll bridge technical needs with HP’s Edge AI platform, ensuring measurable value and scalable solutions. You will own end-to-end demonstrations, pilots, and architecture workshops, collaborating across sales, engineering, and services to advance opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical presales, forward deployment engineering, solution engineering or architecture, AI infrastructure, advanced compute, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on knowledge of modern AI infrastructure including GPUs, CPUs, NPUs, accelerators, containers, networking, storage, and hybrid-cloud technologies.
• Strong customer-facing presentation, communication, and technical storytelling skills.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, product management, services, partners, and customer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into actionable Edge AI and Advanced Compute architectures and implementation strategies.
• Own the technical execution of customer POCs, pilots, and solution validations.
• Configure, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and optimize Edge AI solutions in customer and lab environments.
• Ensure POCs demonstrate measurable customer outcomes, not just feasibility.
• Develop productionization plans covering architecture, infrastructure, security, integration, and operations.
• Prepare solution bills of materials, architecture documents, and deployment content.
• Help differentiate HP by demonstrating Edge AI capabilities can solve real customer problems.
