Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking staff to perform patient scheduling, registration, and admission at bedside while validating insurance details and collecting financial information. This role requires accuracy, high attention to patient data, and strict HIPAA compliance.

You will coordinate with medical teams to ensure timely bill submission, identify patient financial responsibilities, and provide a positive experience for patients and families while maintaining confidentiality and data

Qualifications

• High School/GED required or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.
• One year of related experience preferred in medical or financial services or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, register, and admit patients at bedside independently.
• Verify insurance information and collect data for billing and eligibility.
• Identify patient financial responsibilities, calculate estimates, and collect payments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Provide positive patient experience and collaborate with healthcare staff.
