Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Experience in medical or financial services settings a plus.
• Strong PC skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, prepares and sends billing for consults and testing.
• Responds to CRM requests for appointments.
• Balances and closes cash drawer in Epic.
• Prepares deposit slips and deposits money.
• Completes preregistration functions and verifies insurance details.
• Collects copays and posts payments.
• Obtains authorizations for visits and procedures.
• Checks patients in/out and registers billing outside Epic.
• Scans documents and supports chart preparation.
