Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding strongly preferred.
• Basic typing at 45 WPM, basic ten key, and computer skills within Windows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients efficiently and accurately.
• Verify insurance eligibility using online systems.
• Collect and enter payments and balance cash procedures.
• Schedule and communicate appointment information for multiple facilities.
• Ensure patient forms are completed and filed correctly.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and handle patient rights respectfully.
