Job summary

The Salvation Army operates an ecommerce initiative at the Phoenix Distribution Center, seeking an Ecommerce Associate to manage listings, photos, and sales flow. You will handle inventory, posting, and customer inquiries, contributing to overall ecommerce success.

Requirements include 2–4 years in customer service/retail, strong English communication, and proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office plus Photoshop. A team-player mindset and ability to multitask are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills of the English language.
Excellent computer and technology skills, with a focus on Windows Operating Systems (10 or higher) and all Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
Knowledge of online selling platforms and proficiency in Photoshop is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
Experience in identifying high-quality and designer brand merchandise.
Must have 2-4 years of customer service and/or retail experience.

Responsibilities

Address stock shipping, coordinate scheduling, and ensure timely order fulfilment.
Administer inventory procedures to track active listings and securely store pending items in designated areas.
Create and update product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, and specifications.
Select high-value merchandise located at the ARC Center for sale on the online platform.
Test items to confirm functionality or authenticity before posting, such as electronics and jewelry.
Photograph and present merchandise in a visually appealing and informative manner.
Provide excellent customer support via email, message, and phone.
Ensure precision in both written and verbal tasks.
Meet daily posting quotas and weekly/monthly sales targets.
Demonstrate efficiency, accuracy, and high productivity through workload management.
Display eagerness to acquire new skills and grow within the organization.
Partner with District Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and team members in day-to-day ecommerce operations.
