Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks an Ecommerce Specialist to manage and enhance online merchandise listings. You will optimize product content, images, and SEO to boost visibility and sales, while selecting high-value items for online sale and meeting posting quotas.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, strong English communication, solid computer skills, and familiarity with SEO and Photoshop. This is an on-site role supporting the eCommerce team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent computer and technology skills, with a focus on Windows OS (10 or higher) and all Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of online selling platforms and proficiency in Photoshop is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytic tools.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize product listings on our eCommerce platform.
• Utilize best practices for title, description, images, and other relevant content to enhance visibility and conversion rates.
• Identify opportunities to increase online merchandise availability.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify improvements.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize listings and suggest new products.
• Select high-value merchandise for online sale from Center/Store.
• Photograph and present merchandise in an appealing, informative manner.
