Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced echocardiography professional to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes handling stress testing support, image optimization, and collaboration with cardiology.

The position offers sign-on and relocation bonuses for qualified candidates and requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, plus BLS within 30 days. Prior grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification required within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels, identifying EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias.
• Utilizes age-specific considerations and proper imaging/doppler techniques to answer clinical questions.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and selects transducers for optimal resolution.
• Communicates results to the cardiologist and participates in stress echocardiography procedures.
• Maintains quality assurance, QA/QC, and participates in cross-training for adult, pediatric, or vascular ultrasound.

Education

ARDMS or CCI certification within 1 year, BLS within 30 days (AHA)
