Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Echocardiography Tech to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role supports exercise and pharmacologic stress testing and performs a wide range of echocardiographic studies with Doppler and TEE assistance as needed.

Qualifications include ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. New grads are welcome to apply. Sign-on and relocation bonuses may be available.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year; BLS within 30 days.
• Sonography or related field education required.
• Accept New Grads as candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and assist with exercise and pharmacologic stress testing.
• Maintain proper patient positioning, imaging angles, and Doppler techniques to obtain optimal cardiac views.
• Interpret and document findings, correlate with clinical history, and communicate results to the cardiologist.
