Job summary

MTM, Inc. is seeking a Regional Ambulance Manager (East) to oversee ambulance recruiting, provider relationships, and network management across the East region.

You will provide high-level service to ambulance partners and ensure operational standards and provider satisfaction, while performing financial analysis of transportation costs. The role is remote, within the East region of the United States, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in EMS or Ambulance Operations, Dispatch/Logistics or Transportation (7+ years preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer orientation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle recruitment of ambulance vendors in the assigned region and onboarding.
• Lead retention and recruitment to ensure comprehensive geographic coverage of the network.
• Evaluate performance and costs; hold providers accountable for metrics like on-time performance, cost, and satisfaction.
• Understand client expectations, contracts, state/local rates, Medicaid/Medicare fee schedules, and service levels.
• Work with Mobile Integrated Health to strengthen ambulance partnerships for community paramedicine and in-home services.
• Oversee internal ambulance processes, provider training, and claims resolution.
• Drive cost containment through recommendations on costs per trip/mile and related metrics.
• Monitor service levels and scheduling; support questions and reimbursement guidance.
• Ensure consistent execution of ambulance policies and contract requirements.
