Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and support our Account Executives II, focused on mid-sized Private Sector organizations. You will hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing team. This is a remote position open to candidates living in the US Eastern Time Zone.

You will coach on sales strategy, manage complex deals, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems. Samsara emphasizes customer success and long-term growth in a flexible, high-energy culture.

Qualifications

• At least two years of proven leadership experience.
• Strong track record of coaching a team on outbounding.
• Experience with complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers and products.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable with public speaking.
• Strong interpersonal and team management abilities.
• Self-starter and adaptable to change, with a growth mindset.
• Ability to provide upwards feedback to upper management.
• Showcased ability to forecast and analyze an existing pipeline.
• Proficient with SFDC, SalesLoft, Gong.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of ~8 account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews and quarterly targets.
• Hire new account executives and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Work cross-functionally to strategically solve problems and project manage.
• Create content for ongoing training and development.
• Support account executives through professional development plans.
• Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives.
• Advance culture within the team and organization with strong EI.
• Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.
