JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by handling store operations before opening. This early-morning role works with a team to prepare the sales floor and backroom for daily business.

You will assist customers, manage pricing and signing, and help with replenishment, receiving, and omnichannel tasks to ensure merchandise availability and smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts before store opening.
• Ability to handle pricing updates and signing across sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist shoppers with questions and product locations.
• Execute pricing updates and posting signs across merchandise.
• Replenish and restock stock to ensure sizes and styles are available on the floor.
• Receive and unload merchandise and organize backroom stock.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized backroom standards.
• Contribute to Omnichannel initiatives including BOPIS, Ship from Store, and returns.
