JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience through in-store operations. This early-morning role works with a team to complete tasks before opening.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, pricing, restocking, unloading merchandise, and supporting omnichannel initiatives. You’ll learn while contributing to floor readiness and store standards.

• 1–2 years retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service – assist customers around the store at a fast pace.
• Execute pricing and signing – update ticket prices and signs accurately and quickly.
• Replenish and restock the store – pull and prepare merchandise for the floor to ensure availability.
• Receive and unload merchandise – help unload trucks and prep backroom items.
• Maintain backroom standards – keep stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Support omnichannel operations – contribute to Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, and related processes.
• Implement merchandising strategy – execute leadership plans for merchandise placement and standards.
• Participate in a learning environment – absorb training materials on products, safety, and processes.
