Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to help create an outstanding customer experience through in-store operations. This early morning position works with a team to complete tasks before opening.

You will handle pricing, signing, replenishment, receiving, and backroom standards while contributing to omnichannel initiatives and merchandising plans to ensure customers find the styles they want.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience is common for this role.
• Must be able to work early morning shifts before store opens.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced store environment and assist customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to store guests.
• Execute pricing and signing updates across merchandise.
• Replenish and restock inventory to meet customer demand.
• Receive and unload shipments with teammates.
• Maintain clean, organized backroom and stockroom standards.
• Support omnichannel initiatives including BOPIS, Ship from Store, and online order processing.
• Follow merchandising plans to optimize product placement and customer experience.
• Participate in ongoing training on safety, shrink, and store processes.
