Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to help create an outstanding customer experience by performing essential store operations before opening. This early-morning role involves working with a team to ensure pricing, replenishment, and signage are accurate and ready for the day.

You will handle receiving/unloading merchandise, maintain a clean backroom, and contribute to omnichannel efforts such as BOPIS, Ship from Store, and returns while upholding merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced store environment.
• Strong attention to merchandising standards and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, assist shoppers with questions.
• Execute pricing and signing across store merchandise.
• Replenish and restock inventory to meet customer needs.
• Receive and unload merchandise and prepare backroom.
• Maintain backroom standards and organize stock.
• Support Omnichannel initiatives like Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, returns.
