Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to create outstanding customer experiences through in-store operations. This early-morning role works with a team to prepare the store before opening and supports customers with fast, friendly service.

You will handle pricing/signage, restock merchandise, unload shipments, and maintain organized backrooms while contributing to omnichannel efforts. Continuous learning and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to work early-morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service - assist customers and answer questions on the sales floor.
• Executes pricing and signing across the store quickly and accurately.
• Replenish and restock the store to ensure desired styles and sizes are available.
• Receive and unload merchandise with the team and prepare backroom.
• Maintain backroom standards to keep stock organized and safe.
• Support Omnichannel initiatives including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Execute merchandising plans to meet leadership guidance and maintain standards.
• Participate in a learning environment with peers and training materials.
