Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to greet, register, and admit patients in a healthcare facility, while coordinating scheduling and inquiries for a smooth patient flow.

This role supports accurate data entry, insurance verification, and collaboration with center staff to ensure timely appointments and financial responsibilities are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of receptionist/cashier or related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Complete the pre-registration process for all new clients.
• Schedule appointments and orient new patients.
• Monitor patient activities on center premises.
• Provide customer service as a point of contact for patient inquiries.
• Collect co-payments and patient financial responsibility at the time of service.
• Enter demographics, billing, and clinical information with timeliness and accuracy in the registration system.
• Maintain communication with Program Director, physicians, and nursing staff regarding intakes.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary.
• Complete administrative tasks: answering phones, checking and delivering mail, maintaining supply inventory.
