Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or GED required and experience in the field.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.

Aufgaben

• Obtain and validate insurance coverage and benefits for new patients.
• Perform eligibility checks to verify active coverage status.
• Explain patient financial obligations including deductibles and copays.
• Process patient payments and update overdue balances.
• Serve as primary contact to address benefits and authorization questions.
• Assist patients with grant applications and portal entries as needed.
• Schedule appointments and arrange patient transportation as required.
• Review daily and monthly reports for data accuracy and error reduction.
• Help ensure clean claims and minimize payer denials by following policies.
• Support special projects using Excel/Google Sheets.
