Job summary

Bags, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Curbside Concierge - Airline Check-in Agent to assist passengers at a busy airport curbside location. You will check in luggage, issue boarding passes, and provide directions and information to travelers with a focus on customer service.

This outdoor role requires early shifts, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Paid training and compliance with TSA standards are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must complete airline compliance training within company timeframe.
• Shifts start very early in the morning and continue into the afternoon; 1st and 2nd shifts only.
• 6+ months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background screening.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Testing process.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in and luggage.
• Assist guest with check-in of luggage to appropriate airlines; verify flight itinerary and number of bags.
• Input guest information for new enrollments.
• Process check-in of bags; charge for bags per airline requirements.
• Weigh bags to verify weight and charge for overweight bags.
• Tag luggage with destination tags and provide boarding passes and receipts.
• Secure luggage after processing the guest.
• Provide information and answer guest questions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Organize and stock the Concierge desk and handle payments.
