Job summary

SP+ (a Metropolis Company) is hiring a Curbside Concierge – Airline Check-in Agent to assist guests at a busy airport curbside. You will check bags, issue boarding passes, and provide flight information while delivering high levels of customer service.

The role requires early morning shifts, the ability to work outdoors in various weather, and training on TSA standards and airline procedures. Prior guest service experience is preferred and eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Testing process.
• Must successfully pass the pre-employment criminal background screening.
• Ability to work in the early morning rotation.
• At least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred.
• Data Entry and/or computer experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions required.
• Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they approach the desk.
• Assist guests with check-in of luggage to appropriate airlines.
• Verify guest flight itinerary and number of bags.
• Input guest information for those not previously enrolled in the process.
• Process check-in of bags and charge fees as per airline requirements.
• Weigh bags to verify weight and charge for overweight items.
• Tag luggage with destination tags.
• Provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, and receipts to guests.
• Secure luggage after processing.
• Provide directions and flight information to passengers.
• Maintain positive, friendly, professional demeanor at all times.
• Manage payments (credit card) received from guests.
• Answer telephones and guest questions.
• Honor client guest service guidelines and values.
