ATI Worksite Solutions in Macon, GA is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist to assess employee health status at client sites and tailor individualized improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.
• Associates degree as a PTA with licensure; or Bachelor's in Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years experience in a Military healthcare setting.
• Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate.
• Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
• BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.
• Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics, determine risk and create a mitigation plan.
• Perform and document all employee treatments within the workplace with coaching for continuous improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
• Address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to prevent injuries.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Provide employee health education and training on wellness and prevention topics.
