Job summary

ATI Health in Midland, NC is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist to design and implement on-site programs that improve employee health and prevent injuries across workplaces.

You will assess body mechanics, document treatments, coach teams for safer work practices, support OSHA-related activities, and help identify education needs to promote wellness and disease prevention.

The role provides mentorship, growth opportunities, and a collaborative environment within ATI Worksite Solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Athletic Training or equivalent licensure
• BOC certification preferred or eligible
• Basic Life Support and AED certification required

Responsibilities

• Develop Injury Prevention programs for on-site employees
• Assess body mechanics and determine risk to create mitigation plans
• Perform and document all employee treatments within the workplace with coaching for improvement
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7)
• Proactively address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations
• Identify and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training

Associate degree as PTA with licensure; or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science / Athletic Training / Kinesiology / Allied Health; or 2 years experience in a Military healthcare setting
