Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist in Macon, GA. This full-time position develops and implements on-site injury prevention programs for workplace clients, analyzes risk factors, and promotes musculoskeletal health across the workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or equivalent required.
• Licensure or certification as appropriate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED certification required.
• BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with office and industrial clients to assess health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.
• Through observation of employee work performance, assess body mechanics, determine risk and create a plan for mitigation.
• Document all employee treatments within the workplace and coach for continuous improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
• Proactively address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to reduce injuries.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Identify, develop, and provide employee health education on wellness and disease prevention topics.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training

Associates degree as PTA with licensure

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology/Allied Health
