Job summary

ATI Health in Macon, GA is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist to design and implement on-site health programs for employees across multiple industries.

You will assess body mechanics, develop individualized prevention plans, and collaborate with clients to improve workplace safety and reduce injuries. The role emphasizes hands-on coaching, education, and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR and AED certification required.
• BOC certification or eligibility preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training or equivalent.
• Discipline-specific licensure or certification as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.
• Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics, determine risk, and plan mitigation.
• Perform and document employee treatments in the workplace with coaching for improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
• Address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to reduce injuries.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Identify and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention.

Basic Life Support (BLS) & AED

BOC certified or eligible
