Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Electrical Engineer for our Philadelphia, PA office, starting in Summer 2027. You will work with our Property & Buildings team on utility, industrial, and commercial scale projects, including substations and power distribution, under supervision.

You will collect data, perform basic design tasks, prepare documentation, and learn to apply IEEE/NERC standards while growing in a team-focused environment with safety first in mind.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 0–1 year of post-education experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical design standards and codes.
  • Ability to write clearly and document findings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data collection and analysis for substation design.
  • Support single-line and three-line diagram design tasks.
  • Support sizing, cabling, and panel design calculations.
  • Prepare documentation and ensure quality and safety.
