Job summary

Kroger Co. is seeking a Store e-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day store e-Commerce activities, drive sales, and develop staff within a fast-paced environment. You will ensure a seamless shopping experience, lead staffing and training, and manage budgets and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Experience with hiring processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing/walking ability.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure e-Commerce department meets/exceeds customer expectations for shopping experience.
• Interview, select and hire candidates for online department staffing.
• Meet product flow demands and create schedules according to guidelines.
• Develop associates to meet productivity standards and certify when goals are met.
• Ensure compliance with laws and food safety procedures.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant duties.
• Lead planning and execution of e-Commerce initiatives.
• Meet/exceed sales, wage budgets and customer satisfaction targets.
• Respond to competitive landscape analysis and adjust plans.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of orders with requested or substitute items.
• Handle substitutions for out-of-stock items to minimize delays.
• Streamline order collection, product handling, checkout and delivery processes.
• Report inventory issues to department heads promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment for the e-Commerce department.
• Provide feedback to management on plan effectiveness.
• Report shelf allocation issues to KOMPASS team.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Ensure preventative maintenance on department equipment.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
