Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an E-Commerce Specialist in Long Beach to expand our online merchandise and optimize content for visibility and sales. You will manage product listings, photos, and content to drive conversions and growth.

Responsibilities include posting quotas, data analysis, and collaboration with the District Sales Manager and operations team to enhance the online shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Excellent computer and technology skills (Windows OS 10+, Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of online selling platforms and Photoshop preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with analytic tools.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• 2–4 years of customer service and/or retail experience.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Experience identifying high-quality designer merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize product listings on our ecommerce platform.
• Use best practices for titles, descriptions, images and content to boost visibility and conversions.
• Identify opportunities to increase online merchandise quantity.
• Regularly analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify improvements.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize listings and suggest new products.
• Select high-value merchandise from the Center/Store for online sale.
• Photograph and present merchandise in a visually appealing way.
• Continuously improve the online shopping experience and customer satisfaction.
• Meet daily posting quotas and sales targets set by the Supervisor.
• Demonstrate efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager, Operations Manager and team members.
