Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a store e-Commerce Operations Manager to lead the online shopping department. You will recruit and develop staff, plan schedules, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include driving sales against budgets, supervising performance, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance across the e-Commerce function. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience in selection and hiring processes preferred.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs daily.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department.
• Staff the online shopping department and develop associates to meet goals.
• Schedule product flow and staffing according to guidelines.
• Lead and coach associates to meet productivity standards.
• Ensure compliance with laws and food safety procedures.
• Train staff on order selector and customer attendant roles.
• Drive e-Commerce initiatives and target sales and budgets.
• Analyze competitive landscape and respond with actions.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and substitutions as needed.
• Streamline order collection, checkout, and delivery processes.
• Report inventory issues promptly to leadership.
• Monitor and maintain department equipment and systems.
• Provide feedback to management on program effectiveness.
• Manage expenses and preventative maintenance for department.
• Handle conflict calmly and maintain integrity in customer and business data.
