Job summary

AutoNation is hiring an E-Commerce Sales Associate to guide customers through the vehicle purchase journey across online, phone, and in-store channels. You will respond to leads quickly, answer questions, and help customers select their perfect vehicle in a no-haggle environment.

In this role you will negotiate terms to meet budgets and lifestyles, provide exemplary customer experiences before and after purchase, and ensure smooth handoffs to the Service department for ownership support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to guide vehicle purchases online, by phone, and in-store.
• Respond to leads in a timely fashion and help close deals.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and transition them to the Service department.
