Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to engage with customers online, by phone and in person, guiding them through the vehicle purchase in our no-haggle environment.

You’ll respond to leads quickly, answer questions, and help transition customers to an in-store experience while delivering an exceptional customer experience before and after purchase, driving loyalty and smooth ownership. Role emphasizes selling with confidence and meeting targets using technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select their perfect vehicle and negotiate terms to meet budgets and lifestyles.
• Close the deal while ensuring an exceptional pre- and post-purchase experience.
• Drive loyalty by following up to ensure satisfaction and transition customers to the Service department.
