Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an Associate Team Leader (ATL) for E-Commerce to support grocery delivery and pick-up services, with accountability for safety, quality, customer service, productivity and team engagement.

You will onboard and train Team Members on SOPs, provide coaching, identify high-potential staff, and lead daily huddles to drive priorities and resolve challenges. A strong emphasis on safety and process improvements underpins this role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading e-commerce or retail operations teams.
• Ability to coach, develop and engage team members.
• Strong safety and quality focus with incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train Team Members on SOPs, staging, quality and safety.
• Provide timely coaching and performance feedback to drive development.
• Partner with Team Leader to identify high-potential Team Members and create development plans.
• Lead team huddles to communicate priorities and address challenges.
• Maintain a safe work environment through hazard identification and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety and food safety protocols through coaching.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, complete reports and preventive actions.
• Partner with store leadership to drive safety culture and compliance.
• Own order accuracy and quality via audits and trend analysis.
• Monitor order times and resolve delays or issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve customer experience.
• Handle substitutions, out-of-stocks, and special requests.
• Optimize shift operations through forecasts and deployment plans.
• Identify bottlenecks and lead process improvements.
• Ensure tools and supplies are available and functional.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Serve as SME for E-Commerce duties.
• Support company programs and initiatives across checkout options and product assortment.
• Maintain operational standards including safety and security protocols.
• Adhere to all policies and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
