Job summary

Arvato Bertelsmann is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage labor and equipment in a warehouse department, ensuring timely, accurate order completion. The role requires planning, organizing, and monitoring receiving, storage, and distribution, while prioritizing orders and training staff across shifts.

You will contribute to continuous process improvements, uphold safety regulations, and align with customer shipping requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment preferred.
• Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks; SAP or WMS experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train new employees for the department.
• Supervise and coordinate floor activities and personnel.
• Receive and transfer materials; manage timekeeping and KPIs.
• Ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; monitor safety compliance.
• Support 5S and continuous process improvements.
