Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to guide team members on shift and ensure top-notch customer service. You will coach, train, and develop staff to meet standard procedures and quality expectations, while enforcing safety and cleanliness across the operation.

The role reports to the Restaurant General Manager and requires leadership in daily operations, inventory checks, cash handling, and ensuring on-time attendance for shifts. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED recommended.
• ServSafe food safety training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, ensures prompt, friendly, courteous customer service.
• Ensures menu items are prepared and served per standard procedures.
• Manages shift tasks and ensures proper assignments for team members.
• Assists team to maintain quality products, service, and cleanliness.
• Demonstrates proper procedures for team members to follow.
• Enforces safety and security policies and procedures.
• Opens and closes the restaurant as required on shift checklists.
• Follows proper product procedures for preparation of all menu items.
• Receives, handles, stores food; rotates and icing procedures.
• Maintains professional leadership behaviors.
• Ensures on-time attendance for shift staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
