Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, load and deliver garments, and support customer relationships with proactive service.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with service and management teams, offering growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance including a physical exam is required.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service accepted.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Load, transport, and unload items; collect used or soiled garments for return.
• Accurately manage invoices and conduct inventory audits.
• Maintain vehicle safety and appearance; comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate with service and management teams on routes and new accounts.
• Upsell and strengthen customer relationships where appropriate.
