Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to implement plans of care, educate patients and caregivers, and document therapy activities. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and students and operates within a high standard of patient care.

Sign-on bonuses are available, including $1,500 for new grads and $2,500 for candidates with 1+ years of experience; relocation assistance is offered for moves over 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required or equivalent.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) credentials required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using teaching methods.
• Follows therapist’s plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response and evidence after communicating with the evaluating therapist.
• Completes daily documentation and charging in therapy EMR.
• Coordinates with PT on patient treatment interventions and progress.
