Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in IDFPR.
• BLS certification (AHA) within 30 days.
• Board eligible to successfully complete board exam on the next available exam date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with clinician communication.
• Produces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67).
• If applicable, completes annual education to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.
• Follows treatment plan of care established by PT and coordinates with PT on patient treatment interventions.
